Simple terms for asimple tool

imgmod is free to use. These terms explain the basics: what you can expect, what you are responsible for, and the one thing that is always true — your files stay on your device.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

By using imgmod.co (together, the "Service"), you agree to the terms below. They are written in plain language on purpose — important terms should not require a lawyer to read.

1. Your agreement

Using any tool on imgmod means you accept these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the Service. Because there is no account, there is no separate "click to accept" step — your use is the agreement.

2. What you can do

You may use imgmod freely for personal and commercial image work — converting, compressing, resizing, cropping, merging and cleaning your own images. There is no licence fee, no per-image charge, and no requirement to attribute imgmod in your output.

3. Your files and your rights

You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to do so. imgmod does not check, review, or store what you put into a tool — by design it cannot, since nothing is uploaded — so it is on you to ensure you hold the rights to an image before you convert, edit or republish it. imgmod is a tool, not a party to what you create with it.

4. No warranty; the Service is provided "as is"

The tools are providedas isandas available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. imgmod does not promise that a tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce a result suitable for every purpose. Image processing can be lossy and device-dependent; always keep your original file until you have checked the output. You use the Service at your own risk.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, imgmod shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or damages of any kind arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service processes your files only on your own device and stores nothing, the realistic scope of any issue is limited to the output of a single operation, which you can simply re-run.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use imgmod to infringe another party's rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, overload, or otherwise abuse the Service. Since the tools run in your own browser, "abusing" them mostly harms your own machine — but please be reasonable.

7. Third-party content and links

imgmod may link to external sites or rely on third-party file-format specifications. Those are outside our control and come with their own terms. The tools may also bundle open-source libraries (UPNG, pako, JSZip, heic2any and similar), each under its own licence.

8. Changes to the Service and these terms

imgmod may add, change or remove tools at any time. If these terms change in a material way, the "last updated" date above will be revised and the new terms will apply from publication. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing approach

These terms are intended to be reasonable and enforceable. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Because the tools collect nothing and store nothing, the realistic scope of any dispute is limited to a single operation that can simply be re-run.

Remember: nothing you process ever leaves your browser. There is no server copy of your work to lose, leak, or lock away from you.
