A grid layout arranges images into rows and columns — the natural choice when you have many images of roughly similar importance and want them all visible at once. It is used for photo grids, contact sheets, simple collages and product galleries. You choose the number of columns; the tool fills left to right, top to bottom, fitting each image into its cell while keeping its aspect ratio.
Grids work best with images of similar aspect ratios. For a clean look, keep the column count modest (2 to 4) and let the tool centre each image in its cell. You can still drag any image to nudge it or resize it with the corner handle.
