A complete image compressor

Quality you control, formats you need, privacy by default.

Live quality slider

Drag the slider to balance size and quality. Every image re-compresses instantly so you can pick the sweet spot.

Smart PNG compression

PNGs use indexed-color quantization (UPNG) — bigger savings than a plain re-encode, with transparency preserved.

Batch processing

Drop dozens of images and compress them all at once, then download every result individually or together.

Format flexibility

Keep the original format or convert to JPG, PNG or WebP on the fly. WebP usually gives the smallest files.

100% Private

All compression happens in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server — ever.

Works everywhere

Runs on any device with a modern browser — Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iPad and Android.

Frequently asked questions

Does compression reduce image quality?

Only as much as you choose. The quality slider lets you balance size and quality. At 80% or higher, results are virtually indistinguishable from the original for normal photos and graphics.

How does PNG compression work here?

PNG images are compressed with UPNG using indexed-color (palette) quantization. The number of colors scales with your quality setting, so lower quality means a smaller PNG while keeping transparency. At 100% quality, PNGs are re-encoded losslessly.

Can I compress many images at once?

Yes. Drop as many images as you like and they are compressed in a batch. Download each one or grab them all at once.

Which format gives the smallest files?

For photos, WebP usually produces the smallest files at the same visual quality. PNG is best for graphics that need transparency. JPG offers a good balance of small size and universal compatibility.

Is it free and private?

Yes. Compression runs entirely in your browser with no upload, and it is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no usage limits.
